Norco Sight with 150mm forks?

I'm thinking of getting a Norco Sight frame (MY 2015) and was wanting some opinions of putting my 150mm fork on them.
They recommend a 140mm fork for it with an A - C of 529mm while my RS Revs are 150mm and have an A -C of 539mm. I was just wondering what people's thoughts are about running it with 150mm forks? Am I likely to break the frame and kill myself?
I've seen and heard people putting longer than recommended forks on bikes before with no issues but have never done it myself.

10mm really isn't going to make much odds, especially as the longer forks will be sagged by about 2.5mm more (assuming the same 25% sag) most of the time)
Personally I'd just stick em on and ride.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
That's what I was thinking. It's also not going to slacken it too much or raise the BB too high either I wouldn't have thought. I could always convert my forks to 140mm if it does feel a bit off too.0
