2010 Specialized Allez Elite or Buy New Base Allez?

Hey Everyone,
I found a 2010 Specialized Allez Elite on my local classifieds and was wondering how much I should spend on that. I saw BicycleBlueBook was listing it around $500 but wasn't sure how accurate those prices are.
Also would you recommend I get the used 2010 Allez Elite or get a 2015 or 2016 Allez Base model from my local shop?
