I know these are currently out of stock everywhere but I wondered if anyone has tried them and can provide some feedback. They look pretty much ideal for what I want (mixed road and gravelly riding) but I'm wondering how durable they are long term. Any info welcome, cheers.

    Can you fit G-One?

yes, the frame will fit up to a 38c but I wondered if they would be too 'tready' and wear quickly on the road. At the moment I'm using gatorskins so the tread isn't crucial. Have you used the g-one?

Yep, there's some on that piece and some in the one that it links to. The G-One are superb and don't wear too quickly. There's a review on road.cc as well today.

The tread is the same really. I doubt the G would wear any faster than the S, and probably slower.

They're pretty rapid tyres regardless of their size.

cool, thanks for the links. I'll take a look. I thought the S had a table-tennis-bat style tread and the G was a bit more knobbly but as long as its not too buzzy on tarmac it could be ok and I like the idea of a 35... cheers

I have the S-Ones - they're very good. Yes, table-tennis bat describes the surface well. They're pretty light and comfortable and seem pretty robust though I've not done epic mileage on them yet. My original front Clement fell to bits in no time with catastrophic failure of the bead.

Yep. Also agree with the table tennis analogy. But what I would say is that the G are not buzzy. They are very plush. They should, and that's a should, last that bit longer than the S because of the slightly more pronounced "knobs." You can't go wrong with either though.

OK, you've convinced me :) I'll give the G-ones a shot. thanks. Going to tubeless-ify my MTB this weekend and hopefully learn from the experience for when the G-ones come into stock.
