GIS tool to determine number of stop signs/lights on a desired route?

Are there any software apps/tools out there which can identify (or connect to local GIS to) all stop signs and/or stop lights on a selected route created in MapMyRide or similar ride mapping apps? For use to determine routes with least number of stops for commuting and as a ride leader for weekend rides. Thanks.
