I have both and they seem to size the same, small in my case

Dont have the Perfetto yet but have heard its the same size up top but tapers in to a tighter waist than the same size Gabba. Its more stretchy though, so the same size probably fits but depends how aero you like and how much spare you carry around the middle...!

I found the Gabba Large perfect fit, but neither Perfetto Medium or Large was as good so I sent them back. I'm slim.

My Perfetto was tiny in the waist compared to the Gabba etc. I wonder if there's two types of fit out there.

I bought BTR's Perfetto and it was definitely a tighter fit all over than the gabba, but especially in the waist as BTR has noted. It is perfect (excuse the pun) on my though as the gabba was too loose in places

How did the ride go in it mate? It really is a very good piece of kit. Better IMO than the Gabba.

Absolutely love it! Perfect for our N Irish "summers". It had been tested over the past week in a temperature range of about 8-16 degrees and windy/sunny/torrential rain/hail and with a mid weight baselayer (planet x 365), arm warmers and a light gillet I have never been too warm or too cold. Very versatile piece of kit and it does exactly what the alpha does for me in the cooler months

Have both (in Large), perfetto is a smidge tighter but has more stretch so its not a problem, it actually fits really well.

Had it for 3 weeks now, IMHO it's the perfect UK cycling jersey for spring/summer, great piece of kit.

Perfetto is definitely more of a race fit. I'm guessing that the Gabba is designed with room for base layers.

There is a top out there better than a Gabba? Surely not!

Cheers chaps. Size sorted. Just need to decide which I would get more use from. (or a alpha....)
  • Hey,

Wishful thinking but has anyone noticed any stretch in their Perfetto over time? I've just bought a L short sleeve and it is very tight fitting, mostly in the chest and shoulders.

I don't think the obvious answer of getting an XL is going to work as the pockets already feel very low on the back so I think they'd sag in XL when loaded.

No stretching in mine after 10/15 wears and a few hand wash setting washes in the washing machine.
