New Hardtail

I decided to get a new hard tail but looking for one that does not have a front derailleur and either a 27.5 or 29'r
It will be used for fireroads, forest tracks, very rocky and sandy roads.
Nothing to fancy no downhill or proper MTBing its for 20-40 mile runs.
Currently have a Boardman 650 which is failing all over the place so given up fixing it.
Looking at £1000 max less the better.
