Hi,

Better half has just had a bike fit, well worth the money (she says) but they've suggested a new set of handlebars, 38cm, with a short reach and short drop.
Bike is a Bianchi C2C (44cm) which currently has Deda finishing kit. Budget not a problem.

Any suggestions?
Condor Super Acciaio, Record, Deda, Pacentis.
Curtis 853 Handbuilt MTB, XTR, DT Swiss and lots of Hope.
Genesis Datum Gravel Bike, Pacentis (again).
Genesis Equilibrium Disc, 105 & H-Plus-Son.

Mostly Steel.

Try the FSA Omega compact bars. The only thing to watch with these is the sizing. They flare out at the end of the bars where they take the C-C measurement, so a 40cm bar is 38cm at the hoods. They seem to meet your requirements and are very reasonably priced.

Bontrager RXL or FSA Compact (various). Both of these have the bars 'flare' out from the hoods by a couple of degrees.

3t Ergonova, is 77mm reach and 123mm drop, and have a nice flat top to them, both GF and daughter use them.

I have these on my Amira, Specialized Women's Expert, shallow drop, alloy, 123mm drop, 75mm reach. I really like them. They are around £35 list price. Also available in carbon for £160. Widths available are narrower than men's ones.

Late to the party, but in case anyone is still searching:-
Profile Design 1/ZeroFive (alloy): reach 70mm, drop 122mm

If cost is not an issue - Enve shallow compact bars. Seem to be the choice for the high end builds
