upgrade chainset compatibility.

My chainset has got warn on my bike and want to upgrade it but because the chainset is the bikes in house brand I wondered if I got the Shimano Sora 9 speed chainset would it be compatible with this bike (issues with bottom bracket etc.)

Yes the FC-3550 compact crankset will fit the Shimano BB fitted to your bike.

Thanks for the reply. Just wondering would i need to buy a bottom bracket aswell and how much in the uk would it cost to get installed?

Depends on how many miles you've done on the old one really. However they are cheap to buy new

so you might as well install a new one when you change the chainset.

Also it's an easy job to swap the BB yourself but you will need the correct tool
