Looks dull as anything... but apparently the descent down to the finish is windy and technical on narrow roads.

    All back together.

Most sources suggesting this isn't going to be a sprint stage.

Come on Carlos!!!!!!!! (More in hope than expectation)

"...can André Greipel hang on? I don’t think so...", Inrng.

That's not to say their predictions are any better than anyone else's.

The profile looks like a milano-sanremo lite, which leads me to believe it will be a sprint finish involving individual riders as opposed to full trains.

    Ergo sprinters who can climb

    Ergo Battaglin

Ergo ptp points aplenty for me.

    And me!

Although without Landa my current decent placing isn't going to last anyway...

Dumouln leaving #giro: there is no position less dignified than when examining your own saddle sore with a torch and magnifying glass.

The climb at 20 kms to go is as tough as the one at the end of Stage 4, so it'll break up the race a fair bit. Whether any sprinters can hang on enough to get back on will be interesting.

Hope Dumoulin recovers for one of the other two GTs this year.

    Magnifying glass???

Any saddle sore requiring a magnifying glass to see it doesn't count, according to my 'hardman' reference book.

Missed that! not sure if it was due to actual work or that I had just let the giro go in one ear and out the other today

Well he is an expert on bottoms. Maybe he could have sorted Landa's out.

Doesn't beat Boonen's saddle sore in the Vuelta. It was more a hole worn into his scrotum.

    So far I have lost:

    Geniez, Peraud, Landa, Fraile.

Sounds like I might be about to lose Demare too.
