Its a DT RR585 32 spoke rear rim about 5 years old.It needs changing. Should I change the DT Aero Comp spokes as well? The wheel has red alu nipples which I was going to change. Dura Ace 7900 hub.

Depends on mileage... above 12 K miles (20K Km) I change the spokes too, otherwise I leave them and just re-rim. If you don't know the mileage, then change them.
Aero-comp are expensive though and hard to find in all sizesleft the forum March 20230 -
i'd keep the spokes but use brass nipples0

Unless the rim ERD is different, I just tape the new rim to the existing wheel with the valve holes aligned, loosen all the spoke nipples a few turns, and then transfer the spokes one by one to the new rim. As well as the same ERD, the new rim needs to have the same handedness as the old - i.e. spoke offsets in the same direction. I've done this many times and never had a problem, and doing this is much quicker than completely unspoking and respoking a wheel. The wheels on our tandem are now on their third set of rims and still using the original spokes, and my touring bike is on at least its second pair of rims with the original spokes.0
