These are both this years models. Not sure how the differences between the two stack up and no reviews (bar any related reviews for sibling bikes - Verenti Technique Tiagra 2016 or the older B'TWIN 540 105).

Here are links to the bikes:

Feedback/advice appreciated.

The spec on the wiggle bike looks better with a full 105 group set but you may be able to find a decathlon with the btwin in stock to try out for size which would be important.

The Verenti is marginally lighter, (full carbon fork), and comes with higher T.P.I. count 28c tyres so may or may not ride better than the BTwin 540 bike. It comes with a full 105 groupset including the standard drop brake calipers which is good for braking power, though may be problematic if you wanted to fit mudguards.

The 540 bike comes with low T.P.I. count 25c tyres, though spec. says it will take up to 32c tyres, though it is not clear what the maximum size tyre/mudguard combination is and comes with Tektro long drop brakes, which allows the fitting of proper full mudguards, if you wanted to fit mudguards.

You could go and try the BTwin with the Verenti you will need to order it and return if it does not fit/you don't like it "if the flesh".

Some more details - the Verenti takes max 28c tyres, 25c with full mudguards. Verenti has Shimano RS11 wheels, the 540 has Mavic Aksim 700c wheels.
