Giant Propel SL Brake Calliper Issue

Got a problem with my 2015 Propel Advanced - the 'hidden' brake callipers behind the front fork....
Where the cable is tensioned on the drive side calliper, it is held in place by a small drub screw with a 2.5mm hex / allen key head, anyway this is now burred so I am unable to get any tension in the front cable as when you pull the brake lever, the cable just pulls through.
Been onto Giant who advise I need to buy new callipers as the grub screw is not listed as a spare part (I bet it isn't at £65 for a new set of callipers), so I was wondering if anybody new which size thread this grub screw is so I can get a replacement - not even worried about it protruding or whatever, as long as it holds my cable in place I'll be happy.

Watching with interest, same issue with a 2014. Just about managed to tighten it last time, but is totally rounded.0

My guess is one of these would do the trick - and it's "grub" screw rather than drub screw unless that's a typo.

Just need to select the length suitable for the housing that the screw fits into.0 -
Spoke to Giant & you can get the part from Upgrade - see below:

Ignore that - received my grub screw today from upgrade & it's not the right one, too small but they say that is the only one they list for that brake set so looks like I'm back to the drawing board.
Does anyone know how I can measure the diameter of my grub screw so I can get a generic alternative?
If Giant / TRP can't tell me what screw I need I feel it might be a bit of trial & error getting the correct size which will be very time consuming0 -
Measure it with a ruler or pair of callipers. Might need to also measure the thread pitch.
2.5mm is an M5 typically.
Or just buy a mixed pack off Amazon or Ebay for a few quid.0 -
Or just take it into your local B&Q or wherever. Not rocket science is it.0

Been in the same position myself so finally decided to sort it.
Bought a mixed pack off ebay for £1.99.

It is M6 that fits. The one I got ain't as long as the originals but they work fine. I would say the original is about 7mm long.
