Chainrings/crankset replacement

Hi, I'm a 14 year old road cyclist and I have to replace my whole drive train (casette, chain, chainrings)
I have a campagnolo 135 mm BCD crank at the right, and have to replace the chainrings, however, being on a budget, I thought maybe it was a good idea to just replace the crankset with a claris one (2x8) but this requires a new bottom bracket as well (currently square taper). Are there any square taper cranksets still out there? Or should I just pay an extra 12€ for a new bb? What is the cheapest option here?

If you run campag then it has a different square taper than shimano. I think there was also a difference across the campag range. The cheapest option may well be a new chainset with bottom bracket.

Sheldon brown's website has details about the different bottom bracket tapers.
