First things first. Can you see any damage on the tyre..?

Yeah it's got a scuff mark on in about 2 inches. Span the wheel up whilst on bike rack and it had a slight wobble

A scuff mark is inevitable when you slide, or lose grip - but it does not necessarily constitute 'damage' and a 'slight skid' does not mean the tyre is toast. Deflate and then re-inflate the tyre and make sure it is still centred on the rim.

I did once manage to create a proper flat spot and had to change the tyre.

That said, might a wobble be coincidence that the wheel needs re-truing and you have become sensitive to it because of the skid?

Back in the olden days, I was coming down a long, wide hill somewhere in the Dales on my gas pipe Raleigh Tour of Britain. Built up a lot of momentum when a horse I was about to overtake giving a wide berth suddenly started rearing up and moving sideways across the road. Despite the steel rims I managed to lock the rear brake completely and scrubbed a tidy little bald patch out of the tread, right down to the carcass in the centre. These days that would be going straight in the bin, but back then, lack of money meant that I continued to ride the thing in that state for several years...
