Bmx skinny Tire set up

I have an old bmx bike I'd like to get suggestions on how I could set it up on the skinniest tires I can I ride it to work and the grocery store I Wana put a cargo rack to its this set up is really that much money to put together might just buy a whole new bike but seeing were I only ride 1 mile to work and 1 mile to foodles store I don't really need anything crazy but it's it's efficient enough on smaller tires I'd like to go for longer rides around town wat do you guys think
