Should I move from Campag to Shimano?

I'm experiencing a small amount of buyers remorse, having decided to get Campag on my Condor Fratello Disc.
I chose Campag for two reasons, cost and a romantic notion of their heritage. The latter may have been a bad reason.
It's important to say I haven't had any problems with my Campag, I'm just worried that the slightly cobbled together combination required to make it disc compatible, and some of the issues Campag have been having, aren't doing the bike justice. (Much more likely, I'm not doing it justice.)
I'm wondering if I should have gone for Shimano. If I do so, I'm thinking of going to Ultegra.
Is it worth me changing? Will I notice any difference?

Campagnolo is not ideally equipped for disc brakes... if you can have Shimano hydraulic for the same money, then it's a no brainer. Otherwise Campagnolo and TRP works fine, I use it, but it's not what I would choose on a new bikeleft the forum March 20230

Exactly what I did, putting it on a new bike :?Svetty wrote:No, just enjoy riding it
I know, you're right. But, I can't help having the nagging feeling I made a mistake as per Ugo's comment.0 -
There are advantages in having cables instead of hydraulics, but hydraulics work better... that said, they will both stop you when you need them to.
Also, having to adapt the rear hub to take Campagnolo splines means a wheel upgrade can be problematic, unless you go bespoke and even there not many options, probably better off just running a Shimano 11 cassette, which works fine with Campagnolo. Little niggles, which can be annoying, but if you have it already, keep itleft the forum March 20230
