4 choices on C2W.....

Giant Defy Disc 1 or 2

Cannondale Synapse Disc Tiagra or 105.

Finding it a) hard to look beyond the £150 cheaper than Tiagra on each and b) the fact that the Defy has an arguably better brakeset, wheelset and finishing kit than the 'Dale.

Other than the fact I like the colour of the Defy 1.......

Defy 1. Bought the Synapse 105 2016 and ended up changing brakes, wheels etc.

Could have bought 2 bikes lol

Yeah, I reckon the Synapse is out on the basis of a few things. If I went for the Defy I'd be swapping my pro lite revo wheels in. Brakes are Spyre so they can stay. Finishing kit identical on 1 and 2. So it's just about whether I want 105 or Tiagra for that £150.

What is more important, the colour of the bike and having 11sp, or can you manage with the 10sp and use the money for something else?

Defy 1 would be my choice love the colour.

I can manage with 10. Easier decision now that the Tiagra chainset isn't ugly. (Unlike the FSA on the Dale).

Black arguably better for commuting......... (in the sense of not being dirty)

I looked at both in my lbs a few months ago and thought the disc 2 looked very smart with the metallic black and silver with red accents.

I have both tiagra and 105 and I have a much greater preference for the 105. I would be prepared to shell out the extra for it. Another thing to note is that the geometry is very different to the Supersix evo that you have.

Boo! Have to wait till August for C2W. On holiday for most of it. So on that basis I reckon wait till September till someone drops the price on a Defy Advanced and get that.......
