Which bike?

Hi,

Looking to spend up to 1000 on a new bike mainly for riding local trails and cross country. I have put a few links below any advice would be great.

Are you limited by retailer? If not take a look at the Giant Anthem:

Limited sizes left, but is a better bike than the Stance (superior suspension, better forks and spec throughout).

A lot of kit for the money: not quite as racy as say the Cannondale, is a little slacker in the head angle for more stability, a good choice if you want something more forgiving but not as full on as some of the latest trail bikes.
