Never in any GT can I remember has the worst performing GC contender in the prologue won the overall.

As soon as I saw Ulissi go I face-palmed. With hindsight it's so obvious!

You don't remember Pantani then. 181st out of 189 in the 1998 Tour prologue.

Perhaps the vernacular Maglia Rosa would've been a better term

Conti deserves an extra slice of cake (no pun intended) after his contribution.

Little bit like the last few km of the MSR? Final selection up the Poggio?

I went for an Italian, but picked the wrong one.

Enjoyed that. My man Taaramae still in there and my other faves Formolo and ahem Firsanov.

And my other men Carlos & King Kung not looking too bad but lost over a minute today.

Bad for my stage PTP but good for my overall and my paddypower account with Firsanov and Landa still up there :)

Just watched the highlights - looked a good stage.

Just watched the highlights, good last 20km that. GC battle shaping up nicely.

My main take away though is how beautiful those podium girls are. Sorry for being so shallow...
It's only a bit of sport, Mun. Relax and enjoy the racing.

I enjoyed the "jersey girls" walking down the finishing straight, but then I'm a dinosaur...

Should imagine they have enjoyed it as well considering the pink jersey holders so far.
