Hi, after finishing my Boardman build, I managed to pic up a small Ladies Boardman Comp fi brand new frame.
I need to get a pair of forks but trying to keep this build cost down a little, I've been looking at the Rockshox XC30 Silver Can be had for £90 and the Suntour Epicon which I can get on eBay for £130, would be happy if it was a decent condition used fork and ideally an air fork of it's going to be lighter!
She is not an aggressive rider currently, but at the same time I'd like something that is not too bad!
Budget is sub £200 really!
Thanks

Epicon/Epixon over the Recon for sure.
Personally I'd look in the classifieds or on evil bay for some decent used Reba's or Epicon, should be able to get some for about £70-80 in good nick, My SID's cost me £70 (and I sold my 2006 Manitou for an unbelievable £60, or about £52 after fees).Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0 -
I'm a big fan of the epicons, mine are 120mm ones from a 2009 carrera fury and now living on now attached to my cotic soul. Such a transformation after years of riding cheap coil forks.0

Epicons for anything less than £200 new. The Manitous above are also excellent - sometimes can find the M30 too for a bit less.0
