All adds to the flavour.. especially once you've had to dig her up and brush some of the mud off...

Speaking of the Old Guard, did the Cannock ride on the 3rd go to plan?

I couldn't make it as I had several kids to keep control of.

Alex and I turned up, rode bikes for about 30 minutes and then ate some cake.

Basically, it was exactly as expected.

Stu sent an invite via MrsHD's FB but I was looking after a load of kids so couldn't make it. There was mention of another being organised but nothing yet as far as I know.

    How was the cake?

I've no idea who V68 is. If he's 68 years old then no

If he was born in 68 then also no but not by a lot

I used to come on here a lot in the MBUK days then it moved to bike radar and went a bit shit. Can't see many names on here I used to know. I see the legendary HD is still around. *waves*

Yes I am kinda here. Toying with the idea of an old mans road bike as all of my mtb buddies are going over to the MAMIL side. Thought I'd stick my head in the sandbox while i was around
