Looking to pull the trigger on cx bike. Have eye on Cinelli Zydeco.

I can get the 105 with a discount 1950 or the Tiagra for around 1620.

Dont worry about the prices - these are Euros.

Question is, is the difference worth it to spend the extra? Takes me over intended spend but if the gap is big enough will see what I can do.

Looking at sizes, seems the M is 53.5 wherreas the L is 56. At 182 (well, I always say 6 feet - and 32/33 inside leg) I think I need to go L. Am good on M Canyon Ulitmate (with 105) but think I need a bit more stretch out with Crosser as will be more touring type use....

Unless you are dead set on buying a Zydeco, there are far better buys out there. Euros or not, most cross bikes with 105 can be had for significantly less than that...

Good point. Head should win (at least not lose badly!). More searching and reading to do ....
