Charity turbo thing

Afternoon,
I got a bit drunk last night and said I'd get involved in some sort of charity challenge thing. I woke up this morning and forgot all about it until I got a text thru from the organiser.
Basically it's some sort of turbo relay where cyclists race against bowlers. the bowlers have got to get x number of strikes before the cyclists ride x number of miles in aid of a local hospice. It looks like I'll be part of a team (numbers to be decided) and am going do at least a one hour block on the turbo, probably more.
As they trying to work out the details, I've been asked how far I can go on a turbo in an hour.
I've never ridden on a turbo before and have no idea. I normally ride hills, but can do an hours lap on a flatish road at 20mph.
Could anyone give me an indication as to how this would relate to an hour on the turbo, am assuming more, but how much more?
Cheers

Impossible to say.... If the resistance on the turbo is set very low you could easily do over 30mph without much trouble. If its set high you might do 10mph.0

Yepp, what he said. Speed on a turbo or rollers means didly although very low resistance can be tricky if a rider isn't used to fast cadence. For most track riders though, holding good form and a steady cadence of 120+ means that they can get some very high turbo/roller speeds with big gearing.0

The speed record on rollers is in the hundreds of mph. Set the resistance to the minimum! Bowlers can be ridiculously good. They can get strike after strike.0

Thanks people. And they asked me as the 'expert'....
Is this a better question?
*IF* I run a cadence of 90-100 turning a 50/12 (with the resistance set accordingly - not too low to spin out) - what sort of hour speed could i get?

29- 32 miles.0

Thank you
Hopefully will be able to get a practice in first0 -
a "dry" run will be the only way to tell, you also have to factor in the change over times between riders too. do you all use the same pedals? saddle height and all that stuff could be tricky too.www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0

Cheers, Yeah a dry run will be order. Looks like we'll be swapping bikes due too - so will factor that in to the times0
