It's by no means bad for the money - is good to see a full suite of Shimano equipment, but the fork is pretty poor and is heavy.

Do you need suspension for your use? The fork here weighs 2.8kg - a rigid fork will be just over a third the weight.
  • Yes cause pavements in our country are wery bumpy, less presure for hands.

What about 6.0 and 7.0 models?

The 6.0 has a better fork, better damper and lighter parts, the 7.0 has again a lighter fork with an air spring (in what is otherwise effectively the same fork, the XC30 replacing the Recon in the range) replacing the coil and saving about 400g.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Unless you get a very high spec fork it will do nothing for comfort on bumpy pavement.
  • I put a some cheap (less 50€) no name fork on my old old forkless mtb and it became a lot comfortable.

A half useful fork with a damper will have a threshold to stop them bobbing and wallowing horribly and allow them to work off road. That means that they don't react so well to small bumps unless you get a high end fork with much better damper which are more sensitive.
A mega cheap fork has no dampers which is extremely sensitive to small bumps but will be completely uncontrolled, useless off road, Bob while pedaling and wallow horribly.

Are there any other retailers/bikes open to you?
  • In local shop have some worldwide brands, but for 500€ those bike even dont have disc brakes and shinano acera parts. Only Tourney and worst.
