Wheel Storage

A while back I 3D-printed a wheel hanger for storing my girlfriend and I's wheels in our apartment, and some friends thought it was a good idea, so I fleshed it out a bit more: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/40 ... el-storage (link now works)
Is this something you could see using in your garage/apartment/bike storage area? Happy to hear out some feedback as I finish up the final production model.
Thanks!

Haven't seen the product, but what's wrong with a hook?left the forum March 20230

Just yesterday i used a sub £2 hook from tool station to hang some wheels on
and £1.63 each for the heavy duty hooks to hang 5 bikes up with.
So it would seem that even tho we cant see your design, there are already many hooks out there suitable for hanging things off.My winter bike is exactly the same as my summer bike,,, but dirty...0 -
If this isn't your device then there is another option out there on Kickstarter

Can you refresh your link so that it works0 -

Not knocking the idea but surely this is a cheaper idea

To be fair, the OPs solution is rather more elegant to look at - at least up until you hang a couple of bike wheels off it!
I'd be ever so slightly possibly tempted if they did a version that could hang off a picture rail but I wouldn't want to be screwing these on.Faster than a tent.......0 -
True, I suppose for the weights involved you could possibly get away with using Command strips, I have some in house holding more weight than a set of wheels and a hanger.0
