Is the only main difference between Fulcrum and Campagnolo wheels is that most riders that choose Fulcrum run Shimano setups? Or not the case?

I notice the tubs 35 XLR vs Bora Ultra 35...Fulcrums are 90g heavier
Fulcrum have 2:1 spoke ratio
same new rim diamond sheet for both
same Cult ceramic bearings for both
both carbon/alu hubs
same spoke type for both

I run Super Record, but if anyone thinks they can share they Fulcrum experience that would be great. Who are better? I mean aren't they the same company. I saw Enrico Gasparotto win Amstel Gold this month on XLR's.

Yeah, if gasparoto was on Boras he'd've had no chance.

Ahh, fair point. I was thinking the Bora Ones.

On a serious note, they are the same rim with different drilling and slightly different hubs.
If running campagnolo then the boras are the obvious choice.

I use/d Bora Ultra with SRAM so no problem there of course, but since Campy's "crash replacement" price is around 1000€ per wheel I won't go back to them anymore :(

    FFWD FTW!

'Campy'. Wtf. A little bit of me died when Campagnolo started using that dreadful Americanism.

Big part of me died when I received repair expense quote from them, but still life goes on (also not British, nor American so I write Campy,as rarely one can pronounce Campagnolo like Italians do  )

Seeing as you can buy a new wheel for less, that is a lot!
