Should have got up and gone for a ride today as its bright and sunny, however the plan was to go out later but it now looks like the rain is in its way.Advocate of disc brakes.0

No pig based breakfast?
Need food as I'm hungry, even though I did a 5 mile commute
Later is boring as the current wife is out with work0 -
Morning folks,
Bit chilly out, took a while to warm up as I pedalled in. Very pretty in the park with the sun shining though. Batch of emails that came in overnight have all been dealt with, now I can relax for a bit until the more local customers wake up.
Later is pub and a Thai meal, 2 cups of tea and some ginger nuts have helped get me going. Should probably go and change.
Onwards and upwards...0 -
Appropriately I was wearing my gabba this morning... chill in the air, but it doesn't feel as cold as the thermometer says it is... it is the usual dilemma of whether temperature is a good indicator to measure heat, or we should really be looking at a way to measure enthalpy instead...left the forum March 20230

Warmer in the sun, colder in the wind. A sunny windy day must confuse things though. I find it helps anyway.......The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.Veronese68 wrote:PB is the most sensible person on here.0 -
Made me laugh at how unsuitably dressed most people were as I rode in this morning. Lots of rattly hybrids being ridden by people in full Scott of the Antarctic gear, a couple of people in shorts that looked understandably miserable and one idiot with no gloves blowing into his hands to try and defrost them. As Ugo says it didn't feel too cold once I'd got going, decent gloves and a buff make a lot of difference though.0

Full bibs, scull cap, winter glover and my trusty assos air jacket this morning, Brrrrr.Pinno, מלך אידיוט וחרא מכונאי0

If I'd got out of bed it'd have been full tights, overshoes, windstopper jacket & gloves, merino base layer and a buff under the helmet.
You know, just to keep it squeaky clean...Advocate of disc brakes.0 -

It was the train for me this morning. Just finished stuffing my face and thinking about how to spend ill gotten gains before heading off early for a school prize giving. Yawn."I spent most of my money on birds, booze and fast cars: the rest of it I just squandered." [George Best]0 -

I was perfectly dressed as I left at 7, less so as I arrived at work! must remember to work on my edible arm wamer idea, you could eat a layer away as the temperature increases!
I am currently trying to justify the price of dura ace over Ultegra or if i could go for a mix and match of the two. hmmmmmm..... possibly not a problem up there with third world hunger or the junior doctor's contracts but everything is relative!www.conjunctivitis.com - a site for sore eyes0 -

Had to laugh the other morning, as I was leaving for work one of my neighbours was looking for his car but couldn't see it. There are so many black soft roaders around there he couldn't see which one was his.0 -
