£750 to spend on a hardtail

Friend has asked which bike she should buy, she is a good experienced rider, not particularly looking for a ladies specific bike, suggesting a hardtail up to a max of £750.

Any comments or suggestions should be much appreciated.

Sorry I just realised I posted this same thread a few days back but not under buying advice

I shortlisted several with the Voodoo noted as a good buy

    Depends on the style of riding, the Rockrider 7 series bikes from decathlon are very well specced XC machines.
    Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

    Longer cross country rides rather than anything too technical or massively downhill.
