'ning peeps

it ain't half warm in the gym here, but good practice for being outside, cooling off before brekkie, which will be followed by my specialist subject of sunbathing by the pool while reading particle physics on my kindle

uk weather looks uninviting, more like norway this time of year, i blame it on the eu exit mob, it's clear the weather is giving us a taste of what it's like outside
my bike - faster than god's and twice as shiny

    I still hate you.

Busy weekend involving some kind of work or other. I was speaking to a Lovely Norwegian lady yesterday who was proudly putting up some bunting for St George's day. She said she couldn't understand the British reticence for flag waving on their national day. They're crazy about it in Norway and most properties have a flag pole!
Currently listening to the woodpecker in the distance as I contemplate rising from my warm bed and making breakfast for the family.
    Enjoy your Sunday.

    :?
You are lying in a warm bed on a Sunday morning, I assume next to the woman of your dreams and your first thoughts are BB?
I don't know whether we should be flattered or should we mourn the passing of the forum lothario into middle age?

Lots of us lie in bed next to the woman of our dreams - then we wake up :)

Morning all, got a few hours of looking after the hound who has just decided to go back to sleep. Presumably the b1tch of his dreams was quite appealing.

It's ok Bally, this time of the month she's more 'foul Hell demon' than 'dream woman'

    Ciao ragazzi

First day off today after 21 straight days at work - huzzah! Back in tomorrow though early doors, but made the most of it: sun, friends, wine, water fight with bambini.

    Ciao!

Hmm... il mio bambino (3 years old) decided to piddle behind the shed.

I had hope she wasn't going to be a chip off the old block.

What's so bad about that? Would have been a bit worse if she was in the living room. I'm very happy when the hound takes a leak behind the shed rather than in the house.

    Ciao

Just too much work - been stuck with a bunch of tankies and then some infanteers: all really nice guys/girls, not too much went wrong enough to cause me to open The Big Bag of Plasters but just long hours leading into long days into long weeks. Had some snow, some sunshine but utterly bugger all cycling.

Back to normal weeks now for the next month then it all goes off again.

    How you lot doin'?
