Solvent for cleaning tubs?

Hi I

Just received my new Michelin Pro 4 tubular which I will be fitting soon. The pamflet which came with them says I need to wipe the base tape down with solvent before mounting. Doesn't give any further info.

What should I be using for this? White spirit? Acetone?

Any help appreciated.

IPA maybe Jaipur IPA.

No I mean iso propyl alcohol. that joke must be old.

Thanks for that. I will use IPA whilst drinking IPA. ;-)
