That's taking things a bit far

    Morning

Blessed with lots of the wife's family this weekend, so going out for a run

Then into town for some kids thing with a 75ft water slide :)

Lunch out followed by dinner out will be expensive on the liver and wallet

St George's Day today! Mind you, you can't fail to realise that can you, what with all the England flags and bunting?
Any dragons had better watch out.
  • Going for a bike ride this morning and the afternoon will be spent trying to avoid putting a new felt roof on the shed.

Have a delivery of El Salvador favourites (5 different packs) coffee beans from Hasbean to sample all weekend.

I thought the wife was being a bit wary.

Will get some peace soon as Stropteen is going out shortly so will get some jobs done. May watch some footy later.

    Morning folks,
Traditional slow start is being had, tea is being drunk. Might go out with the Mrs later, stopping for food and drink us on the agenda. Pub on the next corner has a mini beer festival for St George's day so flags and bunting are up. Might have to visit a few times over the weekend.

Glorious day for it. Hired a couple of BSO's and trundled around the harbour foreshore here, with periodic refreshment stops. Finished with large plate of good fish 'n chips and a crisp Sauvignon...

60km ride in the sun this morning, not a big effort compared to some but a ride is a ride.

Probably food shopping this afternoon and I think I'm being dragged to a gym equipment place as MrsHD wants some stuff.

Dinner at parents tonight and I'm making an apple and smoked bacon risotto for a starter.

Make sure you wear a Burka.

Meh. The slightly too short 1748mm Kevlar V section belt or the slightly too long 1773mm belt?

    Why can't life be simple?

If you are in Dubai you might bump into my sister!

Nice 47 mile ride this morning, waiting for my water meter to be changed now (why can't they be more specific than between 1 and 6?) then seeing the potential lady friend later.

what do people think on 2013 specialized roubaix for £600? i can't decide!

If you can flog off the wheels and bits, then yes - go for it. At £600, if you only want the frame, it's on the steep side - it's only a 'Sport'.

    Be quick:

    Too small?:

Some bits are worth keeping, others you can sell. What are you going to get for the hotch potch of 105/Tiagra/RS11 wheels on the other?

    Really Nice:

Morris dancers, a bloke dressed as St George and about a dozen guest ales, very nice. Couldn't stay long tonight but will try a few more tomorrow.
