Looking for a new bike for the wife, at the minute she has a older small (16.5inch) mens giant xtc full suspension. Its getting bit tired and she's ready for a new one. Two that we have found that she likes the look off and both seem a good fit when we looked at them in the shop but which has the best spec, we have been doing mainly blue route trail centres (cannock, Llandegla, coed y brenin) but she's ready to start red routes now. With the cube we have found a used one in mint condition so may go this route. suggestions please

The Cube has a considerably better spec - fork is a few rungs higher (much lighter, more adjustable), improved brakes, better drivetrain, nicer wheels. I'd just check it over thoroughly if you go for it though, pivots, welds etc.
  • To be honest I was thinking the same and the one I have seen second hand is half the price and apparently in excellent condition but not knowing much about the specs wanted a second opinion, I think I will go and check it over.
    Thanks for the reply

The Liv Lust (Giant Anthem) is also a good buy.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.
