Brake pulling ratios

The rear caliper of my 105 (5700) brakes is sticking. I've stripped it down and cleaned it and then adjusted it but it is still not right. In the process I have also stripped the head of the pivot bolt and whilst it is still doing its job the bolt needs replaced.
A couple of questions:
1. Is the pulling ratio on the 6700 calipers the same as the 5700?
2. Is the pulling ratio on the 6800 calipers the same as the 5700?
3. Are the 6700 calipers are as good as the 6800 calipers?
I have 6800 on my summer bike and am thinking I may look for discounted 6700 calipers for the winter bike to replace the wonky rear and improve the front.

Sounds like an excellent excuse to get 5800 callipers. They will work just fine with your 5700 shifters - just work betterFFS! Harden up and grow a pair0 -

Agreed! Just done this exact thing and they work beautifully0 -
I am using 5800 calipers on 5700 shifters. They work brilliantly although I am told the pull ratio is different. I am none the wiser as it just works so much better than the tekro's i had on previously0

I use 6800 calipers on 6700 shifters. They seem to stop me just fine.0

I have 5700's on one bike and 5800's on the other, both on 5700 shifters, and the 5800's are far better brakes, so I'll soon have them on both.
Couldn't tell you anything useful about pull ratio's though!0
