What's a current equivalent of a Specialized Team Master (rear tyre, 26 inch)? I've found it pretty much ideal for the sort of riding I do (mix of roads, trails, occasional muddy short-cuts through fields). Don't do really steep stuff and not worried about speed. Mainly looking for something that is ok on roads (i.e. not too unpleasant and won't wear down too fast) but won't give up at the first sign of mud.

Panaracer Fire XC are a good compromise across a range of surfaces.
Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.

Specialized Ground Control is good. Not too draggy on the road and good grip in a variety of surfaces.
