Buying dilemma (Full suspension vs hardtail)

Hi All
I'm currently looking for a trail bike to replace my old cube hardtail that was recently stolen.
I'll mainly be riding trail centres (Sherwood pines and a few different trail centres in southern Scotland) and some riding out in the peak district.
My budget is £2000 max
The main dilemma I have is for my budget is it possible to get a decently specced full sus bike or should I just buy another hardtail?
Thanks

Some excellent trail bikes in that budget, Bird Aeris and the new Boardman FS Pro spring to mind.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

There's loads of excellent full suspension bikes at that price. I'd go for the Rose Granite Chief. Excellent bike for the money.
£150 over budget https://www.rosebikes.co.uk/bike/rose-g ... aid:775461
Or under budget but you can adjust the spec, I'd upgrade the fork to a Manitou Mattoc Pro and still keep it in budget
