I wrote a quick blog about my experience with both Carbon and Aluminum rims and the benefits of each type of wheelset. Enjoy.

Th riding opinion and feedback was good, the opinions on other stuff, well it's your opinion and no more, should have left it out.Currently riding a Whyte T130C, X0 drivetrain, Magura Trail brakes converted to mixed wheel size (homebuilt wheels) with 140mm Fox 34 Rhythm and RP23 suspension. 12.2Kg.0

I can't seem to find any info on this model of carbon rim - how much does it weigh and cost?0

It's not really a comparison of carbon vs alloy. It's a comparison of one particular set of rims vs another set of rims.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350

Can't even say how valid a comparison of rims it is as type of spoke and tension will also have a significant effect on how a wheel feels.0

So just a comparison of one pair of wheels against another.
Not much use at all then.Transition Patrol - viewtopic.php?f=10017&t=130702350
