Hello guys

Me and a friend are looking to cycle around Holland this summer but the ferry prices are extortionate! Our revised plan is to fly there and hire a decent touring bike for a few days. Has anyone ever done this before? And if so, can you recommend a good bike store in Amsterdam?

In Amsterdam you'll probably only find city bikes, but normally outside any train station in Holland there is a bike rental. I remember renting some decent German style touring bikes (you don't need light stuff in Holland) just outside Leiden station
