Fulcrum 7s - bead seating problem solved?

Hi all,

Just wondering if the Fulcrum 7s still have the issue of the tyre not seating correctly sometimes?
I had a set in 2013 and it drove me mad.

I am looking for a new set of training wheels and keep coming back to the 7's as i was happy with them apart from the above issue.

Would appreciate any help.

    Wife has old style (thin) 7's (2016) that seem fine. My Quattro absolutely fine. New LG should be absolutely fine.

    I have a pair of the 7LGs on the winter bike and have had no problems with them at all. Excellent wheels for the money in my experience.

    Thanks for the replies.

    Sounds like it's not an issue any more so think I will order a set.

    Are the 5's worth the extra over the 7s?

    they r training wheels so if you like the 7's get them.

    i had 5s that were a basterd to fit tires too, until fitted slight narrower rim tape.
