    I only started record in GC in Jan 2010 before then I used dailymile and a spreadsheet neither of which I can remember,

  • I only started commuting 12 months ago and probably covered 1200 miles actually commuting. Enjoy longer weekend rides with friends covering another 700 miles. The family (Wife and daughter) are commuting to work/school when the weather is nice now and we are also having quality time together pootling around the country lanes/pubs which is another 200ish miles in the last 12 months . I LOVE the days when both cars are left on the drive.

    The benefits in terms of health (fitter and gave up smoking), costs, QT with the family, environment are massively greater than I thought they would be when I decided to get a bit fitter 12 months ago..

    It has indeed become “a way of life”
