at first yes, but as it dragged on and on a new thread every time that he said something, or some sponsor dropped him became less and less necessary.

Same with non-relevant political snark sneaking into other threads in CS...

He's posted in both threads then. Not sure how he plans on ignoring himself but he wont be the only one :)

I don't really see what that's got to do with it - when I want immature political bickering I can go there (or watch PMQs), if not then not.

I don't think I ve posted in the Politics thread since it went quite so batshoot crazy...

That was a legally sanctioned change through the correct channels.

What was your old username again?
I'm sure that a former mod would never break the rules by having a duplicate account - what are you suggesting Seano?

It's interesting to see how far from reality it can deviate...

As long as it stays in there and the rest of us can use it as a curiosity it's all good with me. Knock yourselves out

We have been for quite a while, ta. Although as a method for keeping all the lefties quarantined it's been quite a success :D

Sorry Alan, looks like you've been outvoted

There is always the option of setting up a dull uncontroversial chat thread for people who like that sort of thing.

I think you'll find that you have.

I am not sure. You have no chance.

If David goes, shouldn't Jeremy go too? After all, they were both on the same side and there's every indication that Labour voters ignored Jeremy every bit as much...

    Fair point.
But Jeremy didn't organise the referendum, was hardly vocal, and is a known Euro sceptic.

I imagine the next election looks a lot more winnable which might inspire candidates to stand against him

Whilst I would vote Labour right this minute should there be a general election, the next government is in for an amazingly torrid time.

Listening to him this morning it's hardly a surprise. He was hardly definitive in his support and even showed signs that he wasn't disappointed by the vote. If Labour voters want a leader to tackle the key issues and give guidance within the party they appear to have backed the wrong horse!
