Hi guys
finally got round to my installed of parts I purchased.
part of the upgrade was mech to hydraulic within my budget, so got the clarks M2
I installed them easily enough, but im noticing an huge about of flex in the lever and I've been informed they need bled, these are meant to come pre bled.
ive been given a few different tips, and wondering if anyone can confirm best way to go
1) Do a full bleed- this would mean buying a full kit and doing the whole hing
2) cable tie by levels closed over night and let the air travel up the hose and they will be okay the next day
3) Burp the brakes - I have seen loads of youtube videos, is this possible with my brakes?
as always any help is appreciated!

These indeed should be pre bled, with a firm bite. So:
1) Ideal
2) Doesn't work - the air goes to the reservoir top, but under the diaphragm, and can work back in to the system. Especially if the brake is left on its side or upside down.
3) Yes, can be done with these.
I got mine from CRC. And I had one brake that needed bleeding. So I complained to them and I got a free bleed kit!
They are great brakes for the money, just that some seem to need a bleed out of the factory.0 -

Yes I am!
Turns out it needs a full bleed. I burped them, and it made no real difference, and I also did the cable tie thing and it did jack shit.
Bleed kit gets delivered tomorrow and I blight mineral oil from Halfords so a full bleed it is tomorrow night!0 -
Bit of a bump on this - sorry!
Looking to put a set of these on my commuter/hack bike. What's the bleed procedure? Can't seem to find it.
Also do these come with barbs & olives to allow shortening of the hoses?
Thanks_______________
