Sora compatible top pull front mech

I'm putting together a CX bike for riding on bridleways, etc, and don't want to chuck a load of money at it really. I've got all the bits together, and will be using Sora 8 speed levers, rear mech, cassette, and a 10 speed FSA Gossamer compact crankset that I have available. The frame requires a top pull, band on front mech, however, so using the Sora one is out. The only one that I can find that fits the bill is the CX70. Will that work with the above combination? Are there any other top pull mechs (preferably cheaper!) that will work with road shifter cable pull ratios?
