SAAAAGAAAAANNNNN Wins!! Just awesome - he absolutely monstered it at the end! Peter Sagan...a real champion today :-) Cancellara, tactically very soft when he probably had the strength to juice them all...

Thoroughly deserved win and now he's got the monkey off his bike I suspect a few more will follow. He's hopefully sussed what he needs to do now.

My man takes 5th and looking good for P-R.

Vanmarcke leaves Canc to wave goodbye to the crowd and the race. Nice.

Fair play. I would have preferred to see one more Canc win but Sagan was the strongest on the day.

The pattern since the new route was introduced has continued: bad, good, bad, good

No good to me though when I had him each way. Luckily I had Sagan each way too which was basically free money.

    Great win by Sagan.

Stupid autocorrect trying to make me look (even more) stupid!
  • Big amount of "unluck" for Maciej Bodnar according to Sagan.

Oh, and by the way, I just checked and I choose Sagan for PTP! Excellent

I had Rowe at 66/1 which was too tempting to ignore.

Sagan superb..... real strong strategy, balls like watermelons. Feel sorry for Fab, would like to have seen him win on the way out but the way Sagan won more than makes up for it.

Good edition, even if my beer addled brain had difficulty following. Chase was pretty close. Win was well taken, suspense was there until 1km.

I think it’s fitting that even the great Cancellara can’t win this race more than three times.

This. It just shows how good this race is that even the best can only win it thrice
  • Best racer won

    Well done Sagz

V dece 5th for Rowe too

Two Cardiff lads in the top twelve. We're overdue a cycling themed Belgian beer serving bar here.

I wouldn't blame the beer - today was a hard one to follow, not helped by Kirby being confused even more so than normal. At one point it was hard to tell who was in which group - and the time gaps.

If they wish. I'll stick to Karmeliet or Kwak if I may

I'm bolloxed. Good race and massive amounts of courage from Sagan and Vanmarcke to lay it on the line and follow Kwiatkowski.

Sagan wins his first monument aged 26. That's two times he's shown he's got the distance in his legs. The beginning of a legend? Maybe...

Over and out guys, over and out...

Good race, well pleased for Sagan.

    I'd rate it 5 out of 10
