  • bg13 - I'm still jealous of your current lifestyle. Well, except for the French bit, sod that.

    Thursday

    Morning Losers!

Yesterday I did sod all. I just couldn't get moving at work at all. As a result, I'm now behind with what I should be doing. Great.
I won a PC yesterday though, it's not great, it's one that work was giving away. Went and collected it last night. I really don't have room for it though, it's currently taking up half the dresser in my bedroom. Hmm Me thinks a move is on the cards next summer...

    Morning

Another day of holiday and sliding too fast towards work again

Today is probably the natural history museum followed by a meal out in Chinatown - can you tell that the rugrats have chosen what we are doing

Could do with going to a bike shop, as I have cash burning a hole in my pocket

Fair play to the rug tats for choosing China Town. Try the Wong Kei for their famous service :)

Currently soaking up the atmos in 'Frankie and Bennys' in Cambridge. Seems to be brat happy hour....at.least I'll be listening to the Buzzcocks in a couple of hours 8)

  • Finally Friday!!

    Morning Losers!

Fark, it's getting like a ghost town in here now!

Today my retard minion is off as he's working the weekend shift. Instead, I've got a weekend lesser-spotted minion working instead. He's not as annoying as retard minion, but still annoying.

After that, I'm popping over to Bury.

Morning all, but not for much longer.
In the office today so having caught up with a few emails I have more time for shirking now. The problem with working from home is that I wind up really busy and get work done, I haven't even managed to get out on my bike when I should be working. Off out to the café for a fried pig product based lunch then meeting the Mrs in a pub later to kick off the weekend as I'd like it to continue. Wimped out of doing a CX race on Sunday because I'm desperately unfit and 32mm tyres are too skinny for mud.

I still have a bit of ringing in my ears after last nights Buzzcocks gig. Also supped a few ciders so was not at my best getting up at 5.30 am to haul my arris into town from Cambridgeshire. But have managed to power on through the day on coffee and delegation to minions. Home time soon...

    Saturday

    Morning

Reasonable night in the pub last night was enjoyed, slightly spoiled by some work traffic on the phone, which I've had to deal with it this morning

Today is a run with a pal in an hour and then back to the decorating fun.

Later is taking the kids to a birthday party, which we are meant to stay at, but luckily the wife claimed as we are back in our old town we had to visit some relatives - the old local here we come & kid free :)

    Chickens like grapes!

And now the weather: a grey start will soon be followed by the cloud clearing and the sun giving it some warmth, 20 degrees today!

bg13, I believe chickens also love chicken! Though I believe they shouldn't eat it (I'm not sure if it's for health reasons or for moral reasons). Cannibal Chickens!

Today I'm having a relaxing day. ish. I'm going to try and get the WiFi working on my new PC, try to fix the exhaust on my motorbike, shave my head and trim the beard, then I'm off to the Eng v NZ Rugby (league) match, then over to Bury to walk some dogs and pick some people up from a wedding around midnight.

    Better get crackin'!

Day of small jobs. Ripped the hifi and associated bits off the shelves, moved the wireless router and connected it to said hifi. Put an extender in so wifi reaches the garage and back bedroom properly. Bit it pottering in the garage and looked at a mate's kid's bike to confirm it was fubar, or at least the forks were. That will happen if you ride into things when pissed. Chilling now before Strictly avoidance, might escape to a pub.

    Evenin' Mongs,

Not too much doing today bar some jobs and a bit of fettling. Decent lamb joint and cider consumed. Shall now watch the box and finish sorting stuff out for Wales tomorrow. Gravityville beckons!

They do and they should not and cow canibalism was the vector for spreading BSE!

For some time I had a farm in W Africa and we had loads of nasty scorpions - Androctinus - look them up. I was told to get chickens in and they did kill the scorpions and ate them which was impressive although what happend to the sting and the poison sac always bothered me.
...take your pickelf on your holibobs.... :D

    Morning skidmarks,

Thanks for the animal based advice, they're all on non meat diets as i have enough on my plate here with the one mad cow!

Did some astro photography last night, didn't get home till 2am or 1am.........whatever! Got some good images of some starry/galaxy type stuff but it was a bit nippy. And no booze was involved.

    General loafing around today.

Just back from the pub in time to watch the end of the F1 and MOTD. We might try for a pre Christmas jaunt...

    Morning Losers!

I slept like a log last night. I was knackered all evening, and just passed out in bed, waking with my alarm. Awesome.

Today is a simple, 'get-through-it' day. Nothing special, just same old stuff. Fun

    Morning,
I don't seem to sleep when the wife isn't here so o managed a full 90 minutes before the kids decided it was time to get up. Needless to say, I wasn't as keen as they were to get up. Today I'll be looking for an opportunity to nap.

The downhill was pretty good and the weather was great - and it was a day not working. Pity my mate cracked a few ribs getting overconfident on the double black run at BPW. Now a bit knackered and not looking forward to tomorrow.

    Work rather than fun today
  • Morning Losers!

I appear to have pulled a muscle in my chest as it hurts if I lean in certain directions. Ouch.

Today, more of the same, then heading over to Bury to walk some dogs.

Back at work today, after a week off, I am not looking forward to it
