bit too windy to ride, stuff blowing around in the streets

had stroll for newspaper followed by espresso and toast at cafe, not many people out, mostly look like tourists on way to the eurostar

Just sorted out the after effects of the windy night although nothing to do with dinner. One fence panel blown over and leaning against the shed - next doors need to fix it: and the bird feeder was blown over (note to the PC crowd - these are birds of the feathered variety, my wife's box of Quality Street was totally unaffected).

Onwards to more jobs and coffee...

Which Cretin decided , Jesus got killed in March this year.

For once me and Stevo are on the same gig. Having re -roofed my outbuildings this week , the one which still needs felting and is covered in a Taup let go like a scooner in a force ten last night, so been battening down again.

Came straight back in and started to look for properties for sale in Mallorca on right move, Now if only I was on the same " Gig as Stevo, I could probably affoard one.

Cant find Roper's place from " Night Manager " though, ( I think its vacant )

With you on that Ballys but after the end of Deutschland 83 there wasn't much choice! And the wife seems to like it for some reason, I don't think Hugh Lauries that good looking

I've fitted a new radiator in the bedroom.

Despite being the same size, the pipes didn't quite match the new one, so the job became a little bigger than expected as I've had to take a bit of floor up, partially drain the system and alter the pipework. Still got it done by 1pm though so feeling quite chuffed.

Perhaps out for a stroll now. A bit cold and nasty here for a ride. Riding in the rain? Lets just say that I've heard of that.

Unfortunately Pinno has already applied for the pool boy job as he's got sweet FA to do apart from post on here. He'll then be able to send his wages back to the third world where he's left his family :P

Pinno needs to sort the remnants of the Gulag out before any poolside duties ( :D sounds right up my street). This week and next, i'll be up to my armpits in hydraulic oil whilst I dismantle a 360psi ram and change the seals.
When the baler is fixed... I can bale cans. When the cans are baled...I can go to Glasgow with a load. When the cans are out of the way...i'll be able to start servicing the 1100 litre bins for re-sale...When the bins are done...I can get rid of the steel skip...when the steel skip is done...We can start cleaning the oil shed and everything else....when the cleaning is done... Asleep yet.
A process is only as strong as it's weakest link or whatever obstacle is in the way.

    Laters.

So if you don't get the pool job, you'll basically be poncing off your other half? Not sure if congratulations or sympathy are in order :)

been a bad weekend for electrical things, first one of the elements in the (heat on demand) water heater decided to fail, then the disk in my pvr corrupted, i suspect due to the power supply getting decrepit

swapped out eighteen of ye olde capacitors in the psu to resuscitate it, ordered a new disk and a new heating thingy

stuff always fails on bank holidays

next glass of wine is beckoning, hic

No poncing. Balers to sell. Conveyors to sell. Bins to sell. Goodwill figure for oil contacts already sold to oil company :D
