Mini V brake arm catching / binding on seat stay

I'm building up a nice Ridley canti CX frameset, but have come to a bit of a halt.

I've got some nice shiny new mini v brakes, but when I mount them on the canti bosses, the brake arms foul against the seatstay, meaning they won't "open out" sufficiently to allow proper brake setup.
They work fine if I don't fully tighten the canti mounting bolts (onto the canti bosses).

Is there anything like a short spacer set you can get, that would mount onto the boss before you fit the canti? (obviously you'd need to ensure the tension spring pin hole was still accessible).

It's not something I've come across before on any of my many bikes!

You need longer mounting studs for your brakes - you should be able to unscrew the current ones, they are Loctited so will be tight
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
