Campagnolo front derailleur braze/clamp question.

Hi
I think I know the answer but as an adaptor is £20 I'd be a fool not to ask first.
I currently ride 10 speed Veloce with a clamped front derailleur.
I'm looking at getting an 11 speed Athena Groupset, from Chain Reaction.
The complete kit comes with a Braze On front derailleur.
Will I need to buy an adaptor clamp?
Or can I attach the the Braze On derailleur to the clamp part of my current Veloce front d?

If your Veloce is a recent one, most likely you can swap the Athena to the Veloce body.
If it can't you can always order a separate clamp....
Maybe you have a problem with the Veloce being silver and the rest black, I wouldn't care.0 -
No my current Veloce groupset must be approaching 10 years old.
I ask because, truth be told I can't afford the Athena, therefore I don't want to shell out another £20 on something that looks uncannily like the clamp I'm already using!
I'm now tying myself up in knots trying to work out if the BB is Italian or English, without an accurate measuring gauge.0 -
Mantel have it £30 cheaper than Chain Reaction (unless you have other discounts)

And you can get generic band-on adaptors for less than a tenner:
