Need to take the plunge instead of relying on house insurance.

Used to insure my other bikes but not for a long time.

How many of you have stand alone bike insurance?

Want something that will replace like for like, not the price I paid.
Not riding abroad.
Don't want to be tied down by the required spec of lock.
Want extras covering ie speedo, saddlebag...

Any offers or recommendations?

  • I'll assume that's a no then :D

To be fair there are so many choices, just google it and find one that suits your needs. Home insurance will usually cover for full cost of replacement if listed as a specified item.

Mine are covered as specified items. Like for like replacement.
My downhill bike is an old model, if that's stolen I get the new Pulse DH Pro which is £1000 more expensive.
My trail bike is a custom build and is covered for like for like replacement.
