Hi all, it's that time again...

The torture of endless web surfing, LBS visiting, salesman speak sifting and a million opinions, has turned what should be a joyous experience into a morass of second guessing and doubt.

It seems threads like this are ten a penny, so I want to keep it simple. Two options A , B or C*.
If you feel inclined to, please vote just A or B. I will work out the details.

Cycle to work voucher is £2100. Budget is £2100 +up to 5%

A - Cube C62 litening 2016 £1999

B - Giant TCR advanced 1 with Mavic Cosmic Carbone Pro wheels (stock PR2 wheels included) £2100 http://justridela.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/Giant-TCR-Adv-1.jpg

C Trek Emonda SL6 £1799

Thanks! ;)

    choose a bike like this:

    1, prettiest.
    2, fit.
    3, the supersix.

at that price point you can't really buy a bad bike.

Just pick the one you like the look of and the one that feels right when you get on it. In nearly all cases, the right size is far more important than most other factors.

The weird spelling of 'litening' puts me off the cube. Other than that - yes the prettiest.

Base your choice on the frame.
Components can, and will be changed.
The above may be fact, or fiction, I may be serious, I may be jesting.
I am not sure. You have no chance.

Both nice bikes, cube looks nicer, Giant has nicer wheels.

Get the one that fits you :)
Obsessed is a word used by the lazy to describe the dedicated!

Just to cause confusion my LBS has come up with a well priced Emonda SL6

Option C is now live. The poll allows vote changes ;)

I think you are missed our point. You could add another 10 bikes but the answer will still be the same.
  • B. Get the Giant. Giant are well known for their reliability and that particular one is extremely good. Although the other bikes are also great, the Giant is significantly better. You will unlikely find a new bike for better value.

Thanks for the replies and advice.
I have gone for option C, the Trek Emonda SL6.
