Hi All,
Probably silly question but...
How would I know if the hub will be suitable for 9, 10 or 11 speed cassette ??
I.e. this one: http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/hope ... lsrc=aw.ds
Does it accept 10 and 11speed cassette ??
Am looking at second hand wheel sets c/w hope hubs but don't know if they will be OK for my 10-speed cassette I have currently on my Anthem X2 2013 ??
Chris

It will fit any Shimano MTB cassette (inc 11 speed, except some very old 6 and 7 speed stuff if we are being pedantic lol), and SRAM 8/9/10 speed. But not SRAMs 11 speed MTB cassette, as it needs the XD freeub driver.
It is a good idea to get a cassette with a large alloy carrier to prevent the soft Hope body being gouged as much.0 -
EDIT:
The one you have linked to is the XD, so just 11 speed SRAM MTB cassette.0 -

Cheers Supersonic,
Would these two be suitable for my 10-speed shimano cassette ???

The items you linked to are a large list - so depends what freeub. If not the XD driver, then yes, will fit.0

If you have a shimano cassette you would need one like this hope pro 2 hub http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/mobi ... prod113663
Just make sure to get the right one for your frame either QR, 142 x12mm axle etc.0 -
As above, have hope pro2 hubs, which are fine for both 10 and 11 speed.Condor Super Acciaio, Record, Deda, Pacentis.
Curtis 853 Handbuilt MTB, XTR, DT Swiss and lots of Hope.
Genesis Datum Gravel Bike, Pacentis (again).
Genesis Equilibrium Disc, 105 & H-Plus-Son.
Mostly Steel.0
